Halloween Portraits

Last Saturday's Halloween Portrait Party didn't bring in much in the way of money (trying to cover for the loss of 2 studio mates) but it sure was a lot of fun.  We will be doing it again tonight and hope that my peeps aren't too old get into costumes and climb up the 17 stairs!  Here are a few shots from last week.

Does Anyone Know What This Plant Is?

I don't know anything about this lovely plant except that it popped up in a flower bed last year, seems to be an annual, and the birds love its' berries.  This year they seem to be all over my neighbor and my yards.  Does anyone know its' name?

Thank you Denise for your comments!  I don't know why, but from time to time blogger won't let me post comments.  I wonder if that is why I get so few of them myself?  Or perhaps that is just wishful thinking on my part!

What's Goin' On

On Saturday we will be taking photos of folks in costume, so this week I have tons of work to do at the studio to transform the shooting room into several spooky shooting areas.  Luckily, I have so much stuff already there and a basement full of more.  The fun part is to get my victorian sofa up the steep stairs!

Sonoma

The honey, his pops and I took a lovely drive to Sonoma on Saturday, all of us needing a little getaway.  We strolled through the downtown area, ate too much, drove around a bit then ended up at Cornerstone.  I had been there once before a few years back and fell in love with the conceptual gardens and cool shops.
