Had to take the truck at the last minute as my car decided to over-heat. Lots of room for our stuff in back, not a lot for us 3 and the dog up front.
The trip should have taken six and a half hours. Too many pit stops and getting lost put us at the wedding site/accommodations late.
We took the long way home via highway 101 south. Beautiful drive, so much nicer than 5. So many places to stop and take photos, so little time to do it.
And yes, we did have some communications issues. That's all I'm going to say!
We got in at midnight. Still exhausted. Will write about the wedding later when my brain is back with me.
p.s. The flowers from the wedding made it home, a little road weary but still alive.
